Oracle Financial Functional Consultants for Bahrain
[11/19/20]VAM Systems is currently looking for Oracle Financial Functional Consultants for our Bahrain operations with the following terms and conditions:
Skills required:
Minimum Bachelors degree
Educational Qualification (Accounting and Finance)
Functional experience in implementing, upgrading and supporting Oracle Financial applications for more than 7 years
Proficiency in Oracle E-Business Suite applications R12 in AP, GL, AR, FA, OM, PO, CM, INV, BI
At least one full life Cycle implementation experience in R12 financial modules
Working experience in SQL, Toad, Discoverer, Excel4apps, Hyperion Planning and BI will be added advantage
Capable to troubleshoot and provide quality problem resolution
Ability to produce functional requirements of reports, interfaces, conversions and enhancements
Implementation experience in Oracle EBusiness Suite in R 12.1.3 (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Treasury, VAT)
Experience in Change Management, Incident Management and Release Management is preferred
Support & Integration experience in the above.
Experience in Budgetary Control and Encumbrance Accounting
Experience in AME
Experience in Sub-ledger accounting including Purchasing and Inventory modules
Experience in Oracle BIEE, Excel4Apps, Toad
Experience in conducting Training to the Users in Oracle E-Business Suite
Experience in Hyperion Planning
Experience in Upgrades, migrations and Testing.
Functional experience in Upgrades and Testing
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
1. Provide hands on support for the following modules already implemented using Oracle E-Business Suite of applications Release 12.1.3:
a. General Ledger
b. Fixed Assets
c. Accounts Payable
d. Purchasing
e. Inventory
f. Order management
g. Receivables
h. Cash & Treasury Management
2. Conduct Training for the above modules
3. Prepare and Manage Oracle 12i Implementation Plans
4. Implement/rollout the above modules in Government & Semi government organizations
5. Assist staff for trouble shooting or debugging
6. Open and manage Service Requests (SR) with Oracle
7. Conduct meetings with End User Management and staff to resolve issues
8. Liaise with Technical staff on database, AIX or other issues
9. Prepare Training and User Manuals
10. Prepare and design solutions for areas not covered by Oracle modules, if required
11. Prepare necessary documentation as required
12. Prepare and document business scenarios for upgrade and patches
13. Prepare Unit Testing and Integration Reports for major upgrades like 12.2.9
14. Train & groom the new generation of Bahrainis to take up similar jobs
15. Configuring sub-ledger accounting and reconcile sub-ledgers with GL
16. Manage the encumbrance accounting and reconciliations of online accrual and year end ccruals.
17. Configure VAT in Oracle EBS and provide reconciliation data with NBR
Deliverables:
Successful implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite in Government Organizations.
Successful upgradation of Oracle E-Business Suite to 12.2.9
Resolved problems and issues in a timely manner.
Implementation Plans.
Project Status Reports.
User Manuals.
